Stefanie Cheng

Physiotherapist | Milpitas, California

I’ve been working with physical therapy patients for over ten years, and as a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the last eight. I earned my physical therapy degree from the University of Southern California.

For the past 2.5 years I have been working with patients who have Long Covid- ME/CFS subtype ranging in mild to moderate severity. I also have experience working with some of the comorbidities associated with Long Covid and ME/CFS, such as EDS/HSD and fibromyalgia.

With the encouragement of the Dr. Ruby Tam (ME/CFS clinic in Minnesota), I have become a certified Perrin Technique practitioner which focuses on lymphatic drainage to treat ME/CFS and Long Covid.

I am currently part of a group of PTs/OTs that share resources for treating ME/CFS and participate in the ECHO: Session for Long Covid and Fatiguing Illness Recovery Program to stay up to date on research. I have completed continuing education on ME/CFS, Long Covid, PEM/PESE/PENE from Dr. Todd Davenport’s Medbridge courses as well as Bateman and Horne’s ECHO program.
