Launch of Canada’s Long COVID ECHO Educational Series

Canadian Health Care Practitioners need more opportunities to learn how best to help navigate and treat the lived experience of our patients with Long Covid.

Long COVID ECHO brings an interprofessional team of clinical experts to your office virtually, at no cost, to learn, share and discuss clinical issues in caring for people living with Long COVID, or Post-COVID-19 Condition (PCC). ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) initiatives are based on a highly successful model of accredited online healthcare professional education now in 35 countries.

The Long COVID ECHO is led by Drs. Anees and McKay with the support of faculty members across Canada. ECHO faculty and hub members encourage discussion and consideration of the best evidence available, to handle complex cases of people with Long COVID symptoms. ECHO community members (clinicians who sign up) can propose questions and present de-identified complex cases for discussion, and contribute to the best strategies for optimal care.

*This ECHO program is for clinicians, researchers, healthcare providers, and other medical professionals.
