About Judit: 

Judit Orban is an experienced physiotherapist with a special clinical interest in managing complex, chronic conditions, including connective tissue disorders, hypermobility spectrum disorders, Long Covid, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Education and Early Career:
Judit graduated from Semmelweis University in Budapest as a physiotherapist. She has extensive experience working in various clinics in Hungary and Canada, specializing in acute and chronic pain management, as well as orthopaedics.

Specializations and Contributions:
Initially, Judit focused on idiopathic, neuromuscular, and degenerative spinal conditions, including scoliosis, kyphosis, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. She deepened her expertise by completing the International Schroth course at the German Asklepios Katharina Schroth Clinic. Judit has since contributed to multiple research projects and conference presentations specific to scoliosis and kyphosis.

Professional Development:
Since joining the team at Diane Lee & Associates Physiotherapy in British Columbia, Canada, Judit has been implementing the Integrated Systems Model in her clinical practice. This unique approach to physiotherapy emphasizes understanding the whole body’s function and how specific issues can impact other regions. Current Focus:
Since the onset of the pandemic, Judit has shifted her focus to complex, chronic conditions. She collaborates with Dr. Arseneau, a specialist in internal medicine with expertise in ME/CFS, FM, and Long COVID, providing group medical visits for patients with these conditions.

Judit’s treatment approach is influenced by lymphatic and vascular mobilization, various forms of manual therapy, and neural mobilization with the goal of managing symptoms that prevents patients from activity. Her aim in physiotherapy sessions is to foster a secure and encouraging atmosphere where
therapists and clients can build meaningful connections. She strives to assist clients in adopting healthy lifestyle changes and discovering the full capabilities of their bodies.
