Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) is a complex disorder characterized by extreme fatigue lasting at least six months. Symptoms worsen with physical or mental activity and don’t fully improve with rest. The cause remains unknown, but theories suggest genetic, infectious, and energy usage factors. It affects memory, sleep, and overall well-being.
